Most of the arrangements and positions have been filled. If you have not contacted me yet please do so I have an accurate count and can make assignments. There will be a small heat of races on Saturday for anyone that is interested in assisting. I am not sure how many Rescue boats I will have for that day so I am only looking for a handful of divers and rescue personnel. This is shaping up to be another big event and it should be fun for all. Don't forget to contact me if you have not done so yet. You can contact the St Clair Fire Station at 810-329-3360 to leave a message. Thanks - Mike

IT IS FINISHED, Wave the checkered flag. This year was the first in several where we did not have an incident! This year went off without a hitch. There was some confusion after the briefing but, we will rectify that problem next year. As always we are adapting, overcoming and improvising and we are always trying to make things better. This is why we have one of the safest races in the circuit! Our coordinated effort on land and water between all of the volunteers, Rescue Personnel, Fire Departments and EMS personnel, we make this one of the favored sights of the Race Teams. I cannot thank you all enough for all you assistance and efforts. I know the days are long and hot but, you all make this one heck of a weekend.
I will try to post if and when there is an appreciation picnic as there has been in the past but, this in entirely up to the BWORA guys. They are the hosting agency for the event and put forth a great effort and dump a ton of cash into the weekend. You have them to thank for all the gratuities over the weekend and if you have the time send them a note of thanks for a great weekend of fun an racing. If they bless us with a picnic I will see if I can get it posted here.
Thanks - Mike
